2008/2009 Subscriptions; American Buffalo Giclee pre-order

First up:

I am working with the fine folks at IoLabs in Rhode Island on a large giclee (16 x 20 inches, which is big for a giclee as they are expensive to produce) edition of the "There is No American Buffalo" drawing. This is a drawing I've had a number of requests for to produce as a print. If you are not familiar with the work of IoLabs, here's a summary: They're awesome. Tiny showcase has been producing thier giclees with them for the last few years, and they look stunning in person. (I'm looking at a beautiful Rachel Sumpter print right now hanging over my desk) This edition will be printed on Hahnemuhle 290 gm Bamboo etching paper- This is a new fine art paper made from Bamboo fibers rather than tree fibers. Fine art meets sustainablity. I'm sold.

Pre-orders for the edition are available for $100 at my Etsy site. (The print will cost $125 for those who don't pre-order.

Secondly:

2008/2009 subscriptions are now available. They will be for March 2008 through March 2009 .
There are 2 options to choose from. Art print only subscriptions are $365 and will be mailed out bi-monthly (6 shipments total). You will receive the featured print of the month as well as bonuses throughout the year. The first 20 subs will also receive the American Buffalo giclee as a bonus. I'm working on some crazy looking prints right now , so it's going to be a fantastic year.

Option #2 is for a total subscription to my work for the same time period. You will receive all art prints, posters (I'm working on a tour series for the Black Keys as well as a few other bands), postcard sets, t shirts and a few other items. This option is $600.

News and upcoming events:

I'll be participating and showing in 2 group shows coming up this March. (opening on the same day!) First is the Mollusk Collectiv exhibition at Bongout's new gallery space in Berlin. If you are not familiar with Bongout's ("Good Taste" in French) work, you need to step up. Meeloo and Anna have been producing artist books, prints and posters for a number of years now as well as publishing a large format art magazine "Mollusk", which is always diverse. They recently built out a nice gallery to complement their printing atelier (that sounds so much fancier than studiio) and should prove to have a major impact on the Berlin gallery scene. Check them out at : http://www.bongout.org

My good friends Chloe and Yannick of Seripop have put together a group exhibition titled "Radar Eyes" which will open March 7th at the Co-Prosperity sphere in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood. The address is Co-Prosperity Sphere 3219 South Morgan St Chicago Il 60608 I'll be showing art prints along with other similarly insane individuals including.....Michael DeForge,The Little Friends of Printmaking, Tim Gough, Ron Liberti, Zeloot, Jesjit Gill, Keith Herzik, Gunsho, Greg Pizzoli, Kuke Frost, Nolen Strals, Sakura Maku, and more...
Chloe and Yannick will have some sort of eye-popping installation set up as well as the launch of a new artist book they put together. Should be a good time for the eyeballs.

Flatstock- SXSW:

I'll be showing my prints and posters at Flatstock 16 @ SXSW this year!
