This is my re-imagining of Jean Baptiste DuSable's home built on the site of what would become Chicago in the 1780's , leaving in 1800. A swampy place, Chicago was named after the native american word for "Stinking Onion", a term which could be applied toward our modern day politics here in the Windy City.
The print is 18 x 24 inches and is in two different signed and numbered editions; one with silver and blue metallic inks on white stock, and one with metallic Gold and Copper inks on Manila stock.
