2009/2010 Subscriptions

2009/2010 Subscriptions to my work are now available! From March 2009- March 2010 subscribers will receive in 3 mailings over 50 art prints, all posters made, an assortment of t-shirts and an original drawing. Yep, thats a lot of art if you pay by the pound! Cost of the sub is $600, and yes, there will be items in the sub that are exclusive to the subscribers only. On Deck

This winter is very very over for me. Chicago has been , uhm, relentless at times. Spent the last week getting over whatever amazingly strong virus my daughter brought home from pre-school. Felt like Sonny Liston after meeting Clay. Ouch. The anti-biotics and tea seem to be helping. Looking forward to a normal week of activity. Finishing poster designs for Murder by Death , Vandermark Five, and The Black Keys (Oakland show)

Year of the Ox Screenprint

Finished these up today and I'm very very happy with how they turned out. 3 different colorways of the 3rd installment in the Chinese Zodiac series, welcome to Year of the Ox.

Witch poster

I was commissioned by the band Witch to make a poster for the Toronto show of their tour. They're a pretty great band, J. Mascis drums on the records, which are sort of Sabbath-y rock at times, although the new record is more uptempo. I pretty much cant stop listening to the song "Seer", which I had on a lot while drawing this poster. I took elements of Pandora's Box, Eye of Fatima, and some other pagan imagery and wrapped up in this poster. I think it worked pretty well.

4 color poster, lots of subtlety in the layering of golds, whites, and yellows. Here's a close up:
