Alabama Shakes - Aragon Ballroom

The Second in my recent Alabama Shakes posters for venues in my hometown of Chicago- a poster for their appearance at the Aragon Ballroom- A venue where my grandparents danced to the Big Bands in the 40's and I went to see the Clash in the 80's!

Alabama Shakes @ Sloss Furnaces, Birmingham

I was super happy to be asked by Alabama Shakes to make a poster for their 2 night stand at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama!  Continuing with the theme of animals/industrial materials I went with this rustic Owlcat made of wood, brick, feathers, and fur.

The poster is 18 x 24 inches and is a signed and numbered edition of 280.  Red, metallic gold , and dark brown/black were the colors used. This was printed in my shop, Ground Up Press on a Cameo 30.

Alabama Shakes @ The Riviera

 

I was commissioned by the excellent Alabama Shakes to make a poster for their recent Chicago show at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago.  I love this band.

The poster is 18 x 24, 4 colors on French Wintergreen paper and is off the hook.  Edition of 175, the poster sold out at the show.

I have my remaining copies available for sale now.
